What You Need to Know About the iPad 3 Camera

For the new iPad 3, Apple has updated its camera software with the new iSight camera. Its video has a 1080p HD, auto stabilization, and a filler for added in-depth color. These new features are easy to use when following this simple guide: Taking Pictures 1. Choose the camera application on the Home screen of the iPad 3. 2. This will automatically pull up the rear facing camera option. It can easily be changed to the front facing camera when you touch the switch button that pops up on the right hand side of the screen, near the corner, depending on how you are holding up your iPad 3. 3. It has a zoom feature for getting close-ups or taking normal distance pictures. You can zoom by using your two fingers to move it out or in, just like “pinching” the screen with your thumb and pointer finger. If you rather use a sliding grid, you can load this option from the “Options” menu. 4. There is an option to focus on a particular point of a picture that you are looking at. Simply tap where you want to focus on and a blue square will instantly appear around that particular area. 5. There are two ways that you can take the photo once you have adjusted everything noted above. The first option is to tap the circular camera icon on the right hand side of the screen. The second option is to press the sleep/wake button. Either way you will have your great, clear shot. Taking Videos The camera can also turn into a video recording option. 1. Choose the camera application from the Home screen. 2. Look for the toolbar that pops up on the bottom of the screen and change this to video by toggling the switch with your finger. 3. Once again, the rear facing camera will automatically pop up. You can switch it the same way that you did for use of the camera. 4. The video also allows you to focus on one particular area that you are videotaping. Simply tap on the area that you want to videotape and this will become the main focus for your video taping session. 5. Tap the record button on the right hand side of the screen. You will know you did this correctly when the record button begins flashing. 6. End the videotaping session by tapping the record button again.
